Here at Smilers Sand & Stone of Bridgwater, Somerset we are proud to have been established since 1994 by Michael Jarvis. We have been supplying sands, gravels, topsoil, muck away and general haulage to Somerset and the local community since then.
We provide a wide range or products including building aggregates, stones, gravels, topsoil, manure, and crushed concrete, we also deliver ready mixed screeds and concrete from local businesses.

Long established family run

We are a long established family run firm based in Cannington, near Bridgwater and have been proudly serving the local community for over 20 years. You can be reassured to receive honest, practical and knowledgeable advice from any of our friendly staff.

Topsoil yard in North Newton

We have a topsoil yard in North Newton and invite both the trade & public, we also stock some gravels, sands, and aggregates there for collection. So whether you are a developer, builder or DIY we welcome you to come along and look at the topsoil, sands, gravels, and aggregates before buying

Construction and Domestic

We serve both the construction and domestic clients, and our many corporate clients include local authorities, schools, housing developments and leisure centres

Can deliver any quantities up to 9.5 tonnes or smaller (not bags)

You can collect your goods from our yard, or we can deliver any quantities up to 9.5 tonnes or smaller. We can deliver to both large sites and also areas with tight or restricted access. We also have a cabstar lorry which carries 1.5 tonnes making even the hardest to reach areas accessible.
We supply by the tonne loose and will be tipped where instructed (if possible), We do not supply bags. We can also dispose of excavation works on a daily rate payment basis, and we are always happy to provide free expert advice.
As the business has grown we have seen the need to cover a larger area and we now regularly delivering to Bridgwater, Taunton, Langport, Wiliton, Illminster, Minehead, Wiveliscombe, Wellington, Glastonbury, Bunham-on-Sea, Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas.
